This is a blessing, for so many to not know the ravages and hardships of war, on the frontlines or the homefront. And for this, we have the souls of the dearly departed soldiers of that war to thank...

Different ways to say the same day. A day that commemorates the end of the First World War and celebrates and remembers all the brave souls that fought for the freedom we often take for granted and their sacrifices of not only the First World War, but every following war as well.

Where ever you find yourself today, please take a moment of silence to remember the War, to remember the soldiers that fought, that died, that lived on. Without the sacrifices those men and women made, we would live in a vastly different world than we do.

If you have a poppy, wear it proudly on your left side.

This day that comes once a year can be a sad one, for the loss of family, of friends, of comrades, but it is also a day of Honour.

We remember so that we do not forget. We remember so that we will not forget. Do not forget, will not forget, the people that gave their lives for our freedom.

Because it's impossible to really hold a moment of silence on the internet, be silent while you read Flanders Fields and think about the meaning of the day.
